Grayce is special - she's a dilute calico

 

What is a dilute calico?

A one in 1,000

muted colors gray, tan, white

her great grandmother was one, too

and we just thought she was grayce.

My dad got me a calico (ginger) when I was 4 years old, she was black, orange and white a shorthair.  Then we rescued one years later(baby) with the black, orange and white markings and a shorthair.  Didn't realize the significance of Grayce's coloring until recently in a pet info feed.  For a rescued baby stray, this is really neat.
